Male Breast Reduction (Gynecomastia surgery) is a procedure to remove excess fat and glandular tissue from the breast, to restore a flatter, firmer and more masculine contour to the chest resulting in rejuvenated confidence and personality.

Procedure

The procedure is carried on an outpatient basis under general anaesthesia or under local anesthesia with sedation.
You can go home in a couple of hours post surgery.
Your excessive breast tissue and fat will be removed with liposuction, excision or a combination of both.
Your excess skin will be removed if required.

Post Operation Care

A compression vest or a chest wrapping is usually indicated for a week or 2 after surgery to help reduce the swelling.
Small tubes are placed near the surgery site to drain off excess fluid which is removed later.
