The procedure is carried on an outpatient basis under general anaesthesia or under local anesthesia with sedation.
You can go home in a couple of hours post surgery.
Your excessive breast tissue and fat will be removed with liposuction, excision or a combination of both.
Your excess skin will be removed if required.
Post Operation Care
A compression vest or a chest wrapping is usually indicated for a week or 2 after surgery to help reduce the swelling.
Small tubes are placed near the surgery site to drain off excess fluid which is removed later.
